"De Pil"
De Pil in Oss, unveiled in 2015 and still a special work of art. It is a design by Sjef Hoogstede. The building is located in the Gasstraat, between Oss station and the factory of the former Organon, the maker of the pill.
Solution
The artwork is 14 metres long, 7 metres wide and about one metre high. There are 21 skylights with LED lamps. Every day a LED light goes out, a reference to women who take the pill from the strip. After 21 days, all lights will turn red for a week before the stop week. After 28 days it starts all over again.
Triolight, together with the municipality of Oss, renovated the artwork in 2020. Our liniLED® Side RGB has been applied and the artwork comes with DMX control.
